What semi-permanent makeup treatments are available?
Anita offers personalised semi-permanent makeup treatments for eyeliner, brows, lip liner and full lips. Each treatment is designed around your natural features, preferred shape, colouring and desired level of definition.
Do I need a consultation before having permanent makeup?
Yes. A detailed consultation is carried out before treatment to discuss your desired result, assess your features and confirm treatment suitability. Anita will also discuss the proposed design, colour, preparation, aftercare and expected healing process before treatment begins.
Can unwanted or outdated permanent makeup be removed?
Yes. Laser tattoo and PMU removal may be suitable for unwanted or outdated cosmetic pigment, including microbladed brows, lip blush, permanent eyeliner and other PMU. Laser treatment can be used to fade pigment or, where appropriate, work towards more complete removal.
How many laser tattoo removal sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on factors such as pigment colour and composition, depth, density, treatment area, skin type and your individual response. Professional tattoos may require around 6–10 or more sessions, while some PMU or amateur tattoos may respond in fewer treatments. A personalised recommendation will be provided following assessment and patch testing.
Is a patch test required for laser PMU or tattoo removal?
Yes. A consultation and patch test are essential before beginning laser treatment. This allows Anita to assess the pigment and treatment area and observe how your skin responds before proceeding with a treatment course. The consultation and patch test are priced at £25.
